BY THE SEA
This pavilion was designed as a proposal for a new Serpentine Pavilion. Following Bjarke Ingels' 2016 pavilion I chose to focus on the repetitive nature and verticality of his pavilion. The result is a rotating sail form reminiscent of life on the water as sails drift in the breeze caressing in a wave like form. One can only circumnavigate the sails, unless they decide to brave the waters edge, travelling inside the pavillion for a unique experience.
A precedent study of Bjarke Ingel's 2016 Serpentine Pavilion.
